Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince release date brought forward.
Zillionth of Hp fans have been cursing WB for the sheer mental torture as they postponed the release date of HBP movie. After a late realization of utter aggravation of this ever gigantic fan group and all the curses they have been bestowed upon(!) (by this group of people of course), WB decided to push up the release date of Harry Potter and The Half- Blood Prince movie. It is good to see that finally they've turned their attention to the public demand from certain demand of their own!(?) Anyway, now they say "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince" is now set to open on Wednesday, July 15, giving moviegoers a jump on the weekend and virtually assuring the film a staggering five-day box-office gross. This is the second change on the calendar for "Half-Blood Prince," which was originally slated for a fall release until the studio shifted the film to a summer opening.
The dates for the final two films — the two-part "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" — are firmly in place. At least for now. Part one is set to come out on Friday, November 19, 2010, with the conclusion opening Friday, July 15th, 2011, exactly two years after "Half-Blood Prince." That is, if Warner Bros. doesn't start shifting things around again. As we've seen, big-screen plans for the boy wizard could change at any moment. However, if you'd like to collect the final HD trailer of HBP, check out and collect it from http://www.mugglenet.com/app/news/show/2316

Harry a History
Did you know of a book called 'Harry a History'? While browsing, I suddenly spotted an update on HP books and found the name 'Harry, a History'. "Harry: A History: The True Story of a Boy Wizard, His Fans, and Life Inside the Harry Potter Phenomenon" is a fantastic book - a must read if you still can't get enough of Harry Potter. As I read further, I came to know the book is written by Melissa Anelli- the webmistress of The Leaky Couldron, one of the most famous Harry Potter fan sites of the world.
Another worth mentioning fact is that the book had a foreword by J.K. Rowling!
"I had already heard of 'The Leaky Cauldron'; it was one of the biggest and most popular Harry Potter sites on the net, and I had been told about a couple of great things they had done....But I had never seen it for myself, never realised exactly what went on there. I sat and read editorials, predictions, theories that ranged from strange to wild to perfectly accurate. I was, frankly, stunned
- and I remain stunned."
Rowling also brought recognition to Melissa by saying how she had filled in "an enormous number of blanks"
"At long last I understand what was going on while I was holed up writing, trying to filter my exposure to Potter-hysteria...a great chunk of my own life has been explained to me. Melissa has filled in an enormous number of blanks. Reading the book you now have in your hands has been an astonishing experience for me. It is as though I have, at last, achieved the ambition I held for years: To go along to a bookshop at midnight on Harry Potter publication night, in disguise, and simply watch and listen."
Having read the first few chapters of the book, I can only say that Anelli not only has Rowling's touch in her pen but she definitely managed to hook me to the book.
You can order the book from Amazon or maybe get one at your local bookstore. Below are amazon links:
